The Other Mother enterd her bedroom that she had once shared with the Other Father, the room was also her workshop and it had returned to its normal old, dusty, cobwebby room. She strutted towards her cubborad and opened it with a huge smirk; she pulled out something huge and placed it on the table that she worked at, she then opened up three drawers that had one drawer filled with different needles, second drawer filled with different threads with different colours and the third drawer filled with different buttons.

" Alright..im all set...just one more important thing..." she placed a hand on her stomch and headed outside the room and down stairs into the living room; she stood infront of the red curtains that was under a little archway next to the fireplace, she bent down and opened her mouth as wide as she could and coughed quite a few times placing her hand into her mouth and pulled out a thread..Who knows what she had up her sleeve.

In the Mean time Mel had shifted coraline in a comfterble place, in a way this looked like she was cradling her like she use to do when coraline was a baby. Mel had her arms around her so that Coraline rested herself againist her chest comfterbly; She looked down at her child smiling and licking her a few times, she gave out a sudden purr. Suddenly one of the jumping mice hopped into the barn and scurried its way over to mel and coraline sneakly but its cover wasnt very good as Mel instinctively blew it by removing her paw from coraline and slamming it on the Jumping mouse.

Mel gave a smirk " heh...pest.." she said proudly, she lifted her paw and flicked it away like a dead bug though the pests kept on coming as a humming bird flew in, it hoverd around Mel..staring at her, inspecting her though Mel had other plans on the bird; giving into her animal side she licked her lips and simply snatched the yellow humming bird in her jaws and into her mouth. There was feathers all over the place infront of her but before she swallowed a voiced stopped her " i wouldnt
do that if i was you..., there just full of sawdust " the voice came from the cat and he spoke in his cattily way as he laid ontop of one of the square pieces of hay; Mel on the other hand spat out the humming bird when she heard the word 'sawdust'.

" Eck...Sawdust?" mel said dissappointedly " tch..Im hungry...and im pretty sure my cu- child...is to " she shook her head a little and then her stomch grumbled, the cat looked at her in a interested way " i see..well..i dont know how i can help you with that, from the looks of it ...anyway..your slowly loosing your human senses and adapting to your animal side quite quickly..well....." he licked his paw and mel stared at him oddly " Lets just say...your becoming more of a animal in mind and then you were as a human" he added.

" I see...well..." Mel began, she was kinda unsure what to say " I guess i better get out of this form before i completely act like a animal all together.." she said though she kept licking her lips..feeling very hungry " Isn't there something you could give me?...i mean..what if i ended up eating my daughter...or something"
she spoke worriedly. " hmm...well..i suppose i could try and get you something.., hold on " he speaked whilse getting up and leapt away; Mel sighed and began sniffing up Coraline's star jumper like a dog and began cleaning her like she would if her daughter was a lion cub although she wasn't and coraline felt mel's rough tongue on her stomch which did disturb her, she stirred right awake " Moom...you do know...cats tongues are quite rough" she said tiredly though her mother chuckled " I know, i just cant help it..".

Mel nuzzled her daughter once more, making her squirm playfully which made her laugh; Coraline sat up then and got up on her two legs, she wobbled abit but kept her balance, at the same time Mel sat up in her sit position to keep an eye on her daughter closely as she was ready to grab her by the jumper at any time if needed." Are you okay honey?.." asked her mother " Im okay Mom, just a little wobbly..are we gonna get going soon? im really ..really hungry" Coraline said placing a hand on her stomch " dont worry we'll get out of here soon and cat is bringing us food..., anyway i need to think of a plan " as Mel spoke, Coraline made her way to the gate of the pen making Mel quick to react.

The Mother grabbed the back of coraline's star sweater by her mouth and pulled her back to the hay bedding she made, Coraline was suprised by this " H-hey mom! " she complained " i dont want you to leave this pen...or my presence Coraline..please.." she said after letting go "  But Mom! somethings happening outside! i think it could be cat " coraline said worriedly.

Mel nuzzled her daughter again " alright....but just...stay beside me.." she said and headed out the pen and outside with Coraline following behind, as they headed outside they saw something quite shocking that made Mel frooze in her tracks " s-stay behind me honey..." she gulped, Coraline did what her mother said as she stared at what seemed to be a copy of Other charlie but in lion form but what didnt help was that Other Mother was there behind the copy...watching with a unhappy look upon her face.
