Coraline Stirred abit in her sleep an tried to shift to her side but she couldnt move as mel had her paws on coraline's arms that weighed her down. Coraline began to open her right eye to see two big feline eyes that looked down on her affectionately, coraline gasped " MO-" though she was cut off as mel placed her
right paw over her mouth " shhh Coraline ..its okay.., Mommys here " Mel said trying to calm her daughter down but it didnt work, Coraline looked distraught and used her free arm to try push away mels paw, at the same time she struggled under Mel and wriggled her legs about but it was useless under the weight of a lioness.

Mel soon began to notice that Coraline was tearing up as she stopped struggling, she began to panic " Oh no...Coraline dont cry honey..please dont cry.." mel said tenderly to coraline although coraline looked up at her still teary eyed but silent, Mel spoke again " im going to remove my paw now...okay...?" she said and moved
her paw slowly away from coraline's mouth and to the side when coraline gave a little nod. " A-are y-you going t-to eat me?" sniffled coraline, looking quite terrified of Mel " Eat you?...Of course not..., Mothers dont eat daughters..and as your mother i - " mel was interupted then by Coraline " your not my mother!, my mother isnt a lion or any animal of the kind.." she said sniffling again and placing a hand to her head.

Mel Looked at coraline worriedly as she held her head " honey im your Mother, that 'thing' you call mother is no more then a monster,..im your real mother...that monster turned me into a lion" Mel said desprately trying to exsplain to coraline on what happened. Coraline Looked at Mel in a unsure way " Coraline..Look..Im sorry....., I havent been the best mother...at all...I've rejected you,...shoved you away..and put you out of sight from mine and your father's eyes..." Mel said trying to hold back some tears but it was hard " but im going to make it up to you honey...i swear..., im going to save you from this monster and then we can go home happily.. " she added yet Coraline kept her unsure look.

Mel removed her left paw from coraline and to the side, Coraline Kept her uneasyness towards mel although she placed her hands to her head as if she was trying to remeber something, Mel Reacted instinctively " A-are you okay Honey? .." she said getting worried " Is there something Wrong with your head?.." she
added as she was slowly emotionaly rising into a panic stage if Coraline did'nt answer. It was plain obivious that Coraline didnt answer for awhile which made Mel's heart ache in worry but soon Coraline questioned Mel " what makes you think im yours?.." Coraline spoke doubtfully as she placed a hand on her button eye, alot of memories flew back to her but not many.

" well..." Mel started " your so much like me....you have my pointy nose, you use to have my brunette hair until you dyed it blue.." mel suddenly chuckled then " your father even told me you had my attitude..but i knew at the same time...you had your father's kindness that balanced it out " she added, smiling down at her lovingly " and the one thing i know..that you loved doing the most was exsploring..Miss Coraline ..Jones, no matter what form im in...you'll always be my child.. " she said lastly and licked the side of her face, this made her suprised from the sudden affection.

Coraline's right eye teared up then " So you are my Mom?...r-right?" she sniffed, Mel replied in a nod gesture and soon sat up so she was in a sit position; Coraline was able to stand up and place her arms around her Real mothers neck then and cuddled her, she was in tears " Im sorry Mom....im sorry i put you through this"
she cried " and...i-i forgive you " she said lastly giving out a little sniffle. Tears rolled down Mel's fur cheeks and placed her right front leg around her daughter, keeping her close, she also nuzzled her lovingly " alright....okay honey..its okay..." Mel spoke sensitively to her daughter but almost to herself at the same
time.

Coraline looked back at her mother then, eye to eye and spoke quietly " can you take this other button eye off me?.." she asked " please..., it really hurts..", " sure...just lie down first.." Mel instructed and Coraline did so. Mel laid back down ontop of coraline comfterbly again and began to work on the fustrating task of Nipping the thread that kept the button on, off; like the other button eye it took the same time and paitence to take it off and nip the rest of the thread away but she did it. She began licking her left eye like she did with the right eye and soon moved to her cheek and face, this made Coraline giggle abit " Moom!! that tickles!! " said coraline , wriggling about abit.

Mel gave a teasing smirk and nibbled at her stomch and fapped her paw at her playfully as both mother and Daughter played together; It was only soon till coraline was back laying on the floor and looking up at her mother as her Mother looked down on her " Coraline...i want you to know that....Im so proud to be your mother...and i also want you to know that.." Mel paused for abit to try hold back tears " I love you ...so much...Even though Sometimes i dont show it, im also Lucky that i gave birth to such a beautiful little girl....." she said and laid beside her daughter and nuzzled her again affectionately in the stomch and smiled warmingly down at her " I love you to Mom.....so much.." Coraline replied and yawned tiredly.

She snuggled up to Her Mother's soft warm pale like baige fur as well as cuddling in the hay; she rubbed her face againist her side " you should stay in this form Mom..your so cuddly and warm" coraline Teased and Mel replied in a chuckle " i would..but its hard walking on all fours, i prefer my two feet..". She soon placed one of her front legs around her daughter and kept her close and warm as she slowly fell asleep, Mel on the other hand stayed awake on guard incase Other Mother turned up..she was being protective...very protective now.

In the mean time Back in the Pink palace the other Mother stirred and slowly awaken from her slumber, she lets out a little grunt as she slowly sat up and looked around to see that there was no coraline in sight. she felt very anxious at the moment but felt maybe coraline went into the kitchen for food or maybe upstairs to the toilet; Other Mother got up and checked round the round top to bottom but there was no Coraline insight at all, she growled " This is the last straw! " she said forming into her second form and stomped upstairs to her workshop...she was going to work on something....make something..., something very familar and that would prove worthy to get rid of Mel Jones...
